Welcome to the Somerset Polish Website

This website has been created at the request of the Polish and English communities in Somerset. The aim of this website is to provide information about support and services available in Somerset. 

You can download official forms such as child benefit, home office registration and many others. You can find out about local events in the Polish community and other migrant communities, and also about interesting places to visit in the area.

There is an Advertisement section where you can find items for sale, job vacancies and accommodation, and you can also submit your own adverts free of charge.

Ones a month, there is a chat room meeting, where you will be able to get online responses to your questions about education, employment, benefits, health...etc.

This website was developed by many individuals and organisations such as the Somerset Polish Community Association (SPCA), the Institute of Technology in Warsaw (Politechnika Warszawska). The project was funded by DEFRA, and supported by VISTA. 

When we started this project, there were about 3000 Polish people living in Somerset, now in Yeovil alone, there are about 3500 Poles, and in the whole of Somerset there are about 10,000 Poles.
